It is with great sadness that we inform you that our Club Member and Jason’s “right hand man” David Gennari has unexpectedly passed away.
David was only 47. He has been a friend of Jason’s for 18 years and his employee for 6 and 1/2 years. He was Jason’s right hand man and store manager. He covered the nursery when Jason was away or busy in addition to doing many of the needed tasks at the Nursery.
David was always friendly, would always have a funny quip to get a laugh, and would enthusiastically help customers and friends alike with no discrimination between the two. He could trim like the wind and wire with the best of them. Also, he was honest, courageous, thoughtful, respectful, and one of a kind.
We are going to miss his warm greeting, big smile, and seeing him under “his” tent, trimming and wiring trees.
We will have a celebration of life for David after we coordinate with his family. More details will be provided when available.
