This all day event. Starting at 10am. is going to be a big event. A lot of help will be needed, so if you have not volunteered as yet, and can do so, please advise. Louise Leister will be doing a powerpoint presentation on the Art of Display. Mike Rogers and Chris Denton will be doing bonsai tree demonstrations and there will be a demonstration of a Japanese Tea Ceremony. Kawa will be being promoted. If you have not let Jason know the size of the tree you will be showing, please let him know asap. There will be no judging of our trees. There is no need for perfection. This will be a display of KAWA Bonsai Society members’ trees! If you have a KAWA name tag, please wear it! If you have a KAWA shirt, wear that also. These, along with our Bonsai display, flyers, and volunteers promoting KAWA will help increase our membership and advertise Joy of Bonsai. And again, Jason will need help the day before and the day of the event, both during and after the event for cleanup. Lunch will be provided free.
